Eligibility for MBA Admission

Minimum bachelor’s degree or appeared for final year examination of a bachelor’s degree & must pass the examination with the requisite number of Marks on or before the date as published by DTE in any discipline of three years duration with minimum 50% or more marks for the general category students. 

Students belonging to SC/ST, VJ/DT, NT(A)/NT(B)/NT(C)/NT(D)//SBC/OBC/SEBS/EWS from Maharashtra state requisite 45% or more marks in bachelor degree with Caste Certificate, Cast Validity, Non creamy Layer from any statutory University approved by the appropriate Government authority & recognized by Association of Indian Universities. The percentage of marks shall be calculated by rounding off to the nearest integer. i.e., if the percentage of marks comes out to be 49.50% to 49.99% and 44.50% to 44.99% then it shall be rounded to 50% and 45% respectively and if the percentage of marks comes out to be 49.01% to 49.49% and 44.01% to 44.49%, shall be rounded to 49% and 44% respectively for deciding the eligibility

Must have completed the document verification as well as the selection procedure as prescribed by the competent authority from time to time (DTE).

Course Name: Regular MBA

Duration: Two Year

Entrance test: Candidate should have obtained non zero positive score in any one of the following examinations, namely:-

  • CET (MH-MBA/MMS CET) conducted by the Competent Authority or 
  • Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by Indian Institute of Management or 
  • Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) Conducted by National Testing Agency or 
  • Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) conducted by Xavier School of Management Jamshedpur or 
  • Entrance Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools or 
  • Management Aptitude Test (MAT) Conducted by All India Management Association or 
  • Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) Conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council, United States of America 

Course Name: Lateral Entry (Direct second Year) MBA

Duration: One Year

The candidate: –
  • Should be a citizen of India
  • Should have passed B. E. or B. Tech or BBA or BMS (4 Years)
  • Any other eligibility criteria and requirement declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act
